I'm Making a New Record!

Hi to the growing Erin McArmy!

Well. Wow. I think we last spoke in 2009. Thank you so much for every single encouraging word, hug, twitter, download, etc these past two years. You remind me everyday why I'm doing this crazy music thing. You've helped me sniff out a little more confidence in myself and filled me with so much joy. On days I didn't think I could do it, I always received an email or some form of communication showing you were affected by my music. It means more than you can imagine.

My life since December has been drastically different. Mainly, I've been in one place instead of fifty. Even better, I've done laundry on a regular basis and been able to go grocery shopping!!! The reason for this new "domestic" routine is I've been writing my new record! After almost two years on the road, my soul needed a regroup and restoration process to start creating again.

Soooo...expect frequent updates on Facebook and Twitter while I try to keep you in the loop of the whole writing/recording process. I'm having an incredible time pushing myself and experimenting with these new songs and can't wait to share everything.

As a side-note (but very important to me), Nashville has been hit so hard with severe weather and flooding. Many friends and neighbors were either ousted from or received irreversible damages to their homes. They've lost thousands of dollars in special equipment for their jobs, not to mention all the baby pictures, collectibles, etc. It's been almost 2 weeks now and I'm concerned people will forget and not pay anymore attention to a very serious situation still very much in need.

To keep me from going absolutely insane, I've scheduled a few shows where I'll debut some of the new songs.
